Google AdWords is a great platform for advertisement which allows sponsored listings to appear on the Top and Side of result pages. Languages and Locations to Target
If you want to target users of different countries, then you can select the languages in which you want your Ad to be displayed. Google does not translate the text for the Ad, so you need to create the Ad in that language you want.
If you want to target your Ads only for the Indian audience, then English or even Hindi or regional language of that particular state will be your choice.
Decide your Budget
You need to enter daily budget that you want to spend on your ads. Don’t enter too low budget, Google will show your ads for sometime and stop when your budget get exhausted. Don’t enter too high budget because it will become expensive. First you start with low budget and test the performance of your ad for few days and make necessary changes.
Create Ad Groups
In Ad groups you need to create Text ads for your products and insert keyword. Here you need to decide on Headline that you want to display at the top which has limit of 25 characters. Mention description in 2 lines, each with a limit of 35 characters. In display URL, specify the URL of your page. The user redirected to your page when clicks on it. For example when you search for shoes, following ad will be displayed.
Using Effective Keywords
First prepare a list of 10-20 keywords relevant to your campaign. You can use google Adwords keyword tool to get a keyword lists. Keywords are words/phrase that a user is likely to use when searching for a product or service that you are offering.
For example, if you are running a campaign for “beauty products”. Then you can use keywords such as natural beauty products, safe beauty products, beauty care, best beauty products etc.
Creating Multiple Ads
You can create multiple Ads in one Ad Group. You can also create more than one Ad Group within one campaign. Utilize effective tools to evaluate which Ads are performing well.
Review the clicks and impressions you receive from your Ads and certain keywords regularly. For example, if one of the keywords coincides with competitor’s choice and demands for too high a bid. Then, you might want to discontinue using that keyword and bid higher for the ones that are performing well.
